JJF is committed to providing a work environment that is safe and healthy for all. We have a responsibility to protect all sub-contractors, employees and members of the public who are involved in our work. Nothing that we do is so important that it cannot be done safely.
Our policy is to create a safe working environment in which nobody is harmed. All of our sub-contractors are trained to accredited CITB certifications, including CSCS, SMSTS and PASMA. No sub-contractor or direct employee that works with JJF are allowed on site without a valid CSCS card, and all our health and safety practices are monitored regularly with attention to detail.
We are a proud Constructionline Gold member, hold Acclaim accreditation and work regularly with a local training company to ensure we are compliant at all times. From the necessary to the desirable skills training, we make sure our workforce are not only compliant, but understanding of proper practice and consciously use tools and plant safely.
We pride ourselves on having an approachable and responsible workforce, that are sensitive to the effect works can have to others around in the environment. Many of our workforce and sub-contractors have been working with us for a number of years, and continue to do so because of their diligent and conscientious attitude.
Ensuring compliance
We ensure our polices are widely communicated, through inductions for new employees, internal snd external training sessions, site notice boards and via consistent communication.
Trained Site Foremen and Supervisors are aligned to each of our sites, to provide continual health & safety support and advice, alongside ensuring the job works are completed on time and to the highest quality. Sites are visited regularly by main contractors to ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Here at JJF, we believe in the power of education and understanding, and we continue to train and improve to strive to constantly do our best. We are fully committed to promoting personnel to a high standard of operation, thus ensuring we provide a trained, knowledgeable, experienced based skill force to our clients.
