BRIDGE STRIKES
We have completed an array of emergency jobs for the Canal and Rivers Trust, and we are well known for having a reliable and fast turnaround. Our skilled sub-contractors have experience in emergency works, and our well managed teams of supervisors, ground workers, shuttering carpenters and bricklayers are on hand to complete jobs with ultimate efficiency.
The example above shows a bridge that was struck by a vehicle that left the scene. The bridge brickwork had buckled, rendering it unsafe for the ongoing pedestrians and vehicles that would then use the bridge thereafter. We supported the bridge’s base structure, removed the side structural brickwork and rebuilt the bridge side, observing the heritage standards of the bridge whilst also ensuring the structural safety was foremost.
